Animals have always been a constant in my life. I was raised in Southern Louisiana, with your typical pets but we also had farm animals, horses and I also kept reptiles for quite sometime. I have respect for and experience with a variety of animals of all sizes.
In 2008 I started my photography business in Normal, Illinois taking portraits of people and working with rescue groups. After 3 years I realized I really wanted to focus on pet photography. I am a firm believer that to be a good pet photographer you must respect your subjects and take the time to understand their needs and their behaviors. I enjoy every single moment with the animals I get to photograph. My goal in every session is to create timeless fine art images that represent your pet's individual personality and to create a beautiful piece of art for your wall.
My son and I donate time when we can with local rescues. We are firm believers that a great photo can help a pet in need find a forever home.
I am also a member of Professional Photographers of America and enjoy entering images into print competitions.
In 2016 PPA North Central Districts 4/4 of my images merited and for PPA 2016 International Photographic Competition 3/4 of my images were chosen for the prestigious Loan Collection and I received Platinum Photographer medal.
In 2017 North Central Districts 4/4 of my images merited. One image also placed first place Animal Portraits and I scored in the Top 10 Cases for my District. 2017 International Photographic Competition- I received a Bronze medal and 3 of my images were selected for the Showcase Book.

I share my home with my Rat Terrier Mojo. My son, Armond is all grown up now so Mojo is a spoiled little fur kid.
My son Armond is my assistant in all aspects of my business when he is available. He has a love of animals just as much as I do. Armond has been learning photography and Photoshop since he was just a young boy. Now we are working to refine his eye to create his own style of pet photography for the future of our business. When he is not working for me or his day-job, he enjoys spending time with Joker his American Hairless Terrier.
