I truly love spring but it has had an impact on most of my sessions lately. These afternoon and in some cases all day rain showers have been forcing me to split sessions over 2 days. This was one of those sessions and if it wasn't for all of our determination, the rain almost ruined our second session date too. This session truly was an honor to photograph these pups and to meet their Mom's. These girls are so amazing! All of them are all well mannered and even little Lilo does agility...I was just amazed by that!
Koa, is such a beauty with her beautiful coat and two different colored eyes. She is such a sweetheart and wants nothing more than to love up on people. Nani, is a silly little girl. She is a little timid at first but she sure was a supermodel in the studio. Any chance she had she was out on the studio floor in a sit and ready to pose. I think she felt like it was a new challenge she had to over come. Then there is darling little Lilo, while she might not be a fan of my camera, she sure does love her treats. She really loved once we moved into the backyard and she was able to show off her jumping skills a little.
I think the highlight of this session was walking into the back yard and seeing the topiary versions of each of the girls. That was just the cutest and of course we had to get a photo with our green doubles.
Our goal for this session was to capture good memories of Koa and her family pack. She was recently diagnosed with cancer and is currently undergoing chemo treatments. I think we managed to get some good shots of this beautiful girl and her furry family.
